Terms & conditions
These are the terms on which we sell to you. They do not affect your legal rights, which sit above anything written here.
Who you are buying from
Pickbury is a trading name of Modasher Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, number 15176519. Registered office: 28 High Street, Clacton-on-Sea, England, CO15 1UQ. Your contract is with Modasher Limited. Email shop@pickbury.co.uk.
Ordering
- Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract starts when we email to confirm the order.
- If something turns out to be unavailable, or priced wrongly by mistake, we will tell you and refund you in full. We will not make you pay a higher price than the one you were shown.
- You need to be 18 or over to buy from us.
Prices and payment
- Prices include VAT where it applies and are in pounds sterling.
- Delivery is free on orders of £15.00 or more, and £4.00 below that. See Delivery.
- Payment is taken by Stripe when you order. We never see or hold your card details.
- Where we show a crossed-out price, it is another retailer’s price for the same item at the date we checked it, not a previous price of ours.
Delivery and risk
We deliver to mainland UK addresses, and some items are sent to you directly by our supplier. Goods become yours, and your responsibility, once they are delivered to the address you gave us. Delivery times are estimates: see Delivery.
Cancelling and returning
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind, with some exceptions for sealed cosmetics and made-to-order items, and stronger rights if something is faulty. The detail is on Returns & cancellations.
Product descriptions and photographs
We describe goods as accurately as we can. Photographs are there to show you what the item is, and packaging, colour and the exact shade can vary a little from the picture, particularly where a supplier has refreshed their packaging. Where an image is a stand-in rather than a photograph of that exact item, we say so on the product page.
If things go wrong
- Tell us and we will put it right: a replacement, a repair or a refund as the law requires.
- We are responsible for losses you suffer as a predictable result of us breaking these terms, but not for business losses, and nothing here limits our liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as a courier strike, may delay delivery. We will tell you and you can cancel for a full refund.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has it. We can close an account that is being used fraudulently.
The small print
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the version that applies to your order is the one published when you ordered. Last updated 4 October 2026.
